So, thousands of fans have begun to descend on the Riverside for the concert by Take That.
Preparations have been taking place for a week for the arrival of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald .
It will be the first time Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium has hosted a major music gig when proceedings get underway in front of almost 32,000 fans.
Revellers were all smiles as they arrived for the concert, with many choosing to enjoy the entertainment at the fan village outside the ground before gates opened.
